Corona Virus 2020 and the Aftermath

The Corona Virus and its Aftermath:

Is this a brief moment of national solidarity, or a "new normal"?

What we have witnessed over the past month is a global issue being brought into the direct focus of governments around the world. Most countries, took direct and swift action, to help their citizens and save lives. However, so did countless brands and individuals. We have shown collective solidarity more now than ever before! This is the chance for change we have been waiting for, and people are quickly realizing things will not go back to the status quo.The governments will spend trillions to rebuild to make things go back to normal, but that should only happen if "normal" works!

What we must ask ourselves is why we would rebuild system which is not working? Why we would go back to fossil fuels when we have renewable energy available now? Why we would continue to support charities and NGO's that receive millions in donations and only use a portion of that to do good? This has shifted the relationship between technology and culture. Before the crisis, technology seemed to be the panacea, the bearer of all utopias. No one — or only a few hard-boiled people — still believe in the great digital redemption today. The big technology hype is over. We are again turning our attention to the humane questions: What is mankind? What do we mean to each other?

This global event shows our younger generations, that we have the capacity to take massive action together. The movement started by Greta Thunberg, have been asking for this exact type of action for the past year and a half. Now that we have seen it is possible, it wont be acceptable to claim that we cannot make massive changes for all of our issues like the climate, poverty, or refugees.

For a little over four and a half years we have been working on this platform which enables behavioral change towards a positive outcome. We do this by making use of "consumerism", stimulating brands and consumers to do better and change the way we consume! We have integrated mainstream marketing techniques to connect the voice of the people with the production power of brands and stimulate doing good!

The DuGut's App's main purpose is to guide people through a period of change. What we thought we could do gradually, in an extensive period of time just got accelerated. Earth has found a "reset button", and this is an opportunity to usher in the new systems that will make the necessary changes in our daily routines. So now its more important than ever to share our message and invite others to become early adopters.
